    Skills You Need to Be Successful

    To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to: 

    • Have strong knowledge of router, firewall and VPN markets, competitors and premises / cloud solution models
    • Design and execute social media strategies to expand reach, grow following, and increase revenue
    • Engage in conversations as a representative of Netgate on our social media platforms and forum 
    • Lead our influencer and affiliate marketing efforts 
    • Be the eyes and ears of the marketing team with regards to our online community
    • Maintain a social media calendar
    • Generate reports showing the results of social media campaigns 
    • Use Hubspot Marketing tools

    Impact You Will Have

    As a Social Media Specialist at Netgate, you will: 

    • Lead the growth and management of our social media and forum presence
    • Be the voice of the company on the internet
    • Collaborate closely with members of the marketing, support, and engineering teams to keep our community engaged, celebrate company wins, and resolve conflict

    Success in the First 6 Months Looks Like...

    After your first 6 months at Netgate, you will have:

    • Completed a 30-60-90 day plan 
    • Developed a preliminary understanding of Netgate’s customers, industry, market, and product and presented your findings
    • Established an ongoing social media posting schedule
    • Created Netgate’s new influencer and affiliate marketing program
